Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-11 00:00:00 Brian Kidd This is a book that anyone who is serious about architecture should peruse at least once. Whether one is interested in architecture from a concrete or conceptual point of view, it contains useful information. Lebbeus Woods has a very unique and special talent for graphic representation. Even if one does not consider his work at a deeper level, his drawings are excellent. The writings that accompany his drawings and photos make points that must be considered regardless of the type of architecture one is producing. A particularly important point that he makes is that when an architect accepts work from a client, he or she makes the statement that he or she supports the values of that client. Obviously, in certain cases this is immaterial, but in other cases, it is extraordinarily important. |
