Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-10 00:00:00 David Haapala This monograph really touches the surface of how game theory can be applied to International Economics. As someone who has taken several international economics classes and studied game theory for foreign policy, I found it easy to follow. Then each section would get into the math - mind blown. I'm sure this is a great book for PhD candidates in International Economics, but it can be a bit overwhelming. The 11th section, Country as Cartel I found really interesting and in someways made an interesting argument for the invisible hand using a macro as collection of micro argument. I'm giving it four stars because of the imagined audience. But it was probably too advanced for me. |
