Review # 1 was written on 2013-05-08 00:00:00 Larry Land This is a new English edition of an older, French guidebook. This is not an extensive guidebook to the Mont Blanc Massif but a selection of some of the finest, easier routes. With comprehensive route descriptions, clear topos, and lots of photos, this guide provides plenty to be getting on with - routes include the classic climbs up Mont Blanc, easy acclimatisation peaks and even some steeper ice routes. Lightweight and easy to stash in your pack, well worth carrying with you. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-01 00:00:00 William Lundell While there were a few interesting stories, this reads like a very dry history book. That very well may have been the intention, so it may be good for mountaineering scholars. But not so good for me. |
