Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-21 00:00:00 Natalie Lamere There is nothing all that simple about Wuorinen's approach to teaching composition. This book gets into the gritty details of basic serial composition in a way that makes it accessible to event those of us still mired in tonality. I plan to work my way through this book multiple times.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-11-25 00:00:00 Javier Trevino A very good read written by a guy who has studied his subject sufficiently. Many informative and useful points about several angles akin to this music. Highly recommended for that purpose.
