This is an excellent book on the Indy cars of Frank Kurtis. The book is exactly what it says and there is little discussion of his numerous midget cars or his less numerous sports cars and drag racing cars. The aim of the book is to capture the history of each of the approximately 110 cars that Kurtis built for Indianapolis and the champ car circuit. Each page has a photo of one of the cars with a caption that tells what is known about the car such as the original owner, car number and driver then any subsequent owners, numbers and drivers. We also learn about how the car finished in any Indy 500's that it made and the ultimate fate of the car, if known. The photos are all black and white and appear to mostly be official speedway photos taken prior to the respective race. I would recommend this book to any fan of the Indy 500 or anyone interested in race cars of the period.
