This is the best (if not the only) book and audio pack for learning Mongolian. The author of this one did an exceptional job at prepping this towards the beginner. The author teaches the modified Cyrillic alphabet and the unique sounds found in Mongolian. The book does the standard Routledge Colloquial Series lessons with dialogue, vocabulary drills, and grammar. Also there are cultural explanations that are helpful to fully immerse yourself in the language. I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to learn this pretty and unique sounding language. Thanks!

Overall, the best overview of the Evenki languages of Siberia in English. Its advantages are that it's a recent volume, includes new scholarship, and is easy enough to find/purchase. The approach to organization of materials taken by Routledge is also very useful, however, it's not long enough and lacks detail on some of the aspects of the less-common variants of Evenki. This is going to be the standard text and reference for probably a decade or greater, so it should have been more comprehensive'and I say that, yes, even though it is fairly good in its scope, because in places it's lacking in depth.
