Very good advice on plants for varied types of shade including light and moisture issues. I would add this. You can read all of the books you like on gardening. You can think you have figured out the exact, proper plant for the space...and it still doesn't work. Nature will have the last say.

Very good informational book for students to learn everything there is to know about flowers. Perfect for a teacher to do an activity on learning how to plant and grow flowers.
