If you are curious or working to figure out how to bring the theory of a daily tea mindfulness practice in to reality, this would be the book for you. While this book contextualizes some of the traditional Japanese and Chinese tea ceremonies and practices, it provides a framework for using a tea practice as a centering point to develop mindfulness. The first half of the book speaks more to the history of tea in a health, wellness, and mindfulness context across cultures. The second half of the book provides some step by step guidelines you can work and play with to help you develop you own setting, methods, and personal expression of how a tea mindfulness practice manifests for you.

"Tea Here Now," by Donna Fellman & Lhasha Tizer I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the book which went over some of the history and preparation methods of tea. I enjoyed being introduced to the Asian tea rituals as well, but the book seemed to become redundant toward the second half with the discussion of harmony and enlightenment that can come from these rituals, making taking tea sound almost Yoga-like. That's when I gave up on the book, just like I did with Yoga. I guess meditation is just beyond me. I ended up skimming the last half.
