Review # 1 was written on 2020-01-23 00:00:00 Johann Serafica 365 Great Stories from History for Every Day of the Year ed by WB Marsh & Bruce Carrick - OK The last few years, I've picked a 'read a long' book to parallel read throughout the year. This one has a moment from history for each day. Quite interesting, but definitely biased to Western History ie European and American. Only occasionally was there anything from anywhere else and that would be because someone Western was involved. Nevertheless, it was a nice counterpoint to whatever else I was reading each day.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-09-14 00:00:00 Els Houben I just skimmed this mammoth book and read the snippets I wanted to know more about or dates that were important to me. A really good historical read though jam-packed with interesting information.
