A very useful resource for people in junior high or older who want a quick introduction to Native American history.

I was debating on whether to give this three or four stars. I did really enjoy this book, however, I decided on three stars because I'm not sure how accurate everything is in the book. This is due to the author saying Sacajawea was a guide for Lewis and Clark, which she was not, it is only a myth. The other Natives in this book that I know of and have read lots about, the information the author provided was accurate so perhaps saying Sacajawea was a guide was the author's only mistake. The book was good and I think it is great to read to learn about more of the Native Americans who have shaped and changed history. Some I had heard of, but many others I did not. So, I would suggest reading this and then, continuing your research on all these amazing women and men.
