Review # 1 was written on 2019-09-30 00:00:00 Jeff Astin I added this book to my "currently reading" bookshelf because not only did I read it yesterday and the day before, I expect to be reading it tomorrow and the day after that and a day after that. Cleo the Cat was a gift to my first son when he was a one year old and we read it several times a day for months and now my younger son is about the same age and loves it just as much. When I put it down and reach for another book he cries. With its simple, repetitive language and brilliant illustrations, _Cleo the Cat_ is a wonderful gift for any toddler. And, unlike many of the board books we have collected, it still looks as good as when we got it; it's very sturdily made. |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-05-12 00:00:00 Boris Webster Very basic words and illustration makes this a perfect starter book for beginning reader children. Or those with special needs that need a more 'calming' book. Cleo the cat is lonely and wants a friend so she sets out to find one. She finds herself in a house where she is given milk, a warm lap and she gives them purring and falls asleep finding herself a friend and a home. |
