Review # 2 was written on 2009-02-18 00:00:00 Amy Thigpen Another fun read. Steele contrasts a historical look at swashbuckling Sci Fi from the past with the hard science stories that are the standard in today's writing. Captain Future is a fun quick novella that has a slight bit more meat than a short story. I do like that the author does not explain every term, or go into histories of why someone is treated a particular way. He gives his readers credit for understanding the genre.
