Review # 1 was written on 2008-06-28 00:00:00 Tadashi Oyama I've read half of this so far, and Darlin' Neal's essay is the best by quite a long shot. As a not insignificant sidenote, the $50 price tag for 160 pages of criticism, notwithstanding its textbooky nature, is effing ridiculous. But I own everything that Brown has written, and every book written about him, so I sucked it up. I wouldn't do it for many other writers.
