Review # 1 was written on 2020-05-23 00:00:00 Timothy Moen My dog is a Lab/Golden mix, so naturally this book caught my eye. While Labradors gives a capable introduction to this highly popular breed, it also follows Stone's utilitarian view of other species, which is evident in most of her other animal books. Expect references to "masters," the use of the pronoun it in referring to dogs, and numerous large photographs of Labs carrying dead birds in their mouths. If that doesn't sit well with you or your family, you may want to skip this book. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-07-02 00:00:00 Leslie Mediate This book was very interesting, and informational. It taught me all that I needed to know about ferrets, including some information that I hadn't known in the first place. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to own a ferret. |
