Review # 1 was written on 2020-02-06 00:00:00 Paul Wenzel This is a great Informative book about Alligators for children! Did you know that alligators have been around since the time of Dinosaurs? The book will teach you a bunch of interesting facts like that one. It contains a glossary with important words that will help children understand alligators more like bayou and carnivores. This photography in the book is fantastic pictures of alligators that follow what the book is teaching. Some photographs of alligators eating prey may upset younger students, although it's important information about alligators.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-01-14 00:00:00 Bernd Weller Fantastic book of nature lore pertaining to North American animals. Accessible and well written. I dare say I liked it even better than his Bird Book. (AmblesideOnline year 2 book)
