Review # 1 was written on 2019-10-29 00:00:00 Ralph Francis I didn't find that there were all that many birds available to paint - but perhaps I am just a spoiled Audubon lady counting up all the totals to send in to the Bird Club on December 29. (I'm so excited about that! It's going to be a big party. I mean, it'll be something that won't startle away all the wild creatures in Chester County, but it will be satisfactory to me.) I liked how the insects were well-detailed. I just thought that there could have been far more variety in the possible birds. I'm so very, very glad the sample cockatiel here does not resemble my dear deceased pet. I'm still mourning my beloved one who was on my shoulder from when I was five to when I was sixteen. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-11-09 00:00:00 Todd Petre too light on history or theory for my taste (works cited is less than a page) but worth price of admission for the reproduced miniatures alone imo |
