Review # 1 was written on 2014-09-21 00:00:00 Guy Carbray I wish this was required reading for every pastor. If it were *slightly* less academic I would use it for parenting groups. It would still be a great discussion book for parents who are ok with reading that is dry but rich. This book shakes out a paradigm shift for how we view children.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-04-21 00:00:00 David Sorensen I finally finished this 52-week devotional book by Jerry Bridges. It only took a year and a half. Well, slightly longer than that, even. Oh, well. Holiness Day by Day is a marvelous devotional book. Each daily reading is an excerpt from one of Jerry's other books. I found each one to be inspiring, and some of them had a great impact on me. I highly recommend this devotion. It is not dated, so it could be started any time of the year. They are simply broken down as Monday through Friday, then one weekend reading.
