Review # 1 was written on 2020-08-27 00:00:00 Ashkan Rahimi There were many sections that I found helpful and inspiring! It was short enough that it was still worth the read. However too much of the husband watches football and the wife waits for him to get home from work starts to make me uneasy. As a social worker I see all kinds of marriages and in my own I am the sports lover and we both work full time. You have to take those parts of the book (which is a small part) as a grain of salt. They are the completed valid personal insights of the wonderful women who wrote the book. It simply bothered me that they spoke as if their experiences are how all women are rather than a saying that they are the way life is for them personally. Other than those few chapters the book was both light, makes you smile, laugh, and cherish your relationship with god.
