Grace is a girl who LOVES FRIENDS! Once she goes to camp she meets new people and becomes their friend. Grace may be at camp but her parents still have high expectations for her. Just imagine having to READ for your whole summer! That is how she ended up if she wanted to stay at camp!

(LL) This book is good at highlighting the importance of friendship: what it means to be a best friend, how to act like a good friend, and how not having a best friend is okay. It shows the difference between friends joking around vs someone being mean/ a bully to another person. Grace dealing with Gaby took way too long and I cringed as I had to read it, but I do think it's important for the intended audience to see it play out that way. No pun intended. The other topics of the book focused on boys and reading, which were decently addressed as well.
