Review # 1 was written on 2010-07-07 00:00:00 Brian Siebers I bought this for my grandkids, but only one is old enough to appreciate it. An eight year old, who got about halfway through before she bogged down. I'd recommend it for 10 to 12 year olds unless they are especially good readers. It is extremely well written and covers complex subjects in an understandable manner. The way the author covered the science impressed me, a retired engineer. Feynman is not only the "great explainer." So is the author. Bravo! |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-11-06 00:00:00 Bevin Cherot This series always impresses me with how much information about the covered president is given in a way that children can follow, without being overwhelming. This book did a nice job of telling a bit about both Lincoln's politics and his personality. |
