This book was written by Annie Dalton. (A female author) Honeysuckle Hope doesn't believe in magic. She is a bully who later becomes a good girl. Lilac Peabody tries to help her to be a kind girl. But will it work? I liked about this book because this book was really interesting and I loved how Honeysuckle Hope was very cruel but she changed later because of Lilac Peabody and his magic. This book was hilarious and entertaining. I disliked about this book as it was infantile to read this book. I think this book is for the people who are under the age of 10 or 7. I would recommend this book to my brother Jin as he hates reading books especially big books, however, this book isn't big and I think he will like it. I decided to read this book as my dad told me to read this book because it was hilarious.

This is a great book for children. Easy to read but emotionally charged. It is about a girl who's mum dies and she becomes a bully in response to her pain, it makes her feel better to make others feel bad. It is easy to relate to and has a happy ending. It seems to incorporate the other books in the series near the end as well. I know it's picky but it annoyed me that the pictures didn't match the emotions being expressed in the writing. People ARE able to be sad in the pictures but it had them smiling at the wrong times.
