Review # 1 was written on 2020-11-21 00:00:00 Theodoros Tafoni Date read: 11/20/2020 Date of review: 11/21/2020 Genre: Nonfiction (Informative, History) Grade Range: 4-6 This a sort of companion piece to the "Castles" I also book I also read and reviewed, except it's about (you guessed it) pyramids. It has the same sorts of virtues as the other book (great nonfiction mentor text due to the abundant examples of nonfiction text features, interesting historical topic, etc.) but where I think it even improves on its companion is how it also looks at pyramids around the world (though, admittedly, it focuses on the most famous pyramids, the ones in Egypt). In general, I love books that help you learn about different parts of the world, and this is a good example of such a book.
