Review # 1 was written on 2012-01-29 00:00:00 Hesham Nassier Quirky little book about many unknown wines with pecular and funny names. Shows large reproductions of the wine labels, which could classify this work as an art book. Many of the wines are still available, and can be considered good wines. For instance, "Cat's Pee on a Gooseberry Bush" has been very popular in England, and when imported into this country (USA), the New Zealand winery was forced to change the Pee to Phee on the label by the over prudent US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, & Firearms. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-04-03 00:00:00 Cassandra Brown Brief and simple yet essential explanations and clues for picturing on what is going on in the wine world technologically. A favorite book and helping one to refer whenever need to clarify some doubts. Enjoyed reading and will definitely re-read. |
