Review # 1 was written on 2014-01-31 00:00:00 Irving Fong Excellent work: for priests - a reminder of some core principles. Perhaps could have been fleshed out with some ideas about how to implement some of the goals outlined but a very good thought provoker for priests who can certainly flesh this out for themselves. Strikes a balance between calling priests on the carpet. Fr. Rosetti knows that priests need to be ministered to as well and he hits some of the ways this can happen. Laity who care to take this book up will find in it some glimpses about priesthood from a priest who minsters to priests who are suffering and who have sinned. Well done. Ad multos annos. |
Review # 2 was written on 2018-11-24 00:00:00 Jeffrey Gill Having been director of St Luke's Center, father Rossetti is well qualified to speak on the state of priesthood at this time. His treatment of the sex abuse crisis is excellent and extremely Timely years after he wrote it. This is a straightforward text from someone who knows the issue from the inside. I strongly recommended. |
