Review # 1 was written on 2008-12-08 00:00:00 Matt Dickie I read this before I traveled to Italy with my girls (then 4 & 2) and found it helpful for setting some expectations for me on the trip. The best advice in the whole book was to buy post cards of things you are going to see and have the kids look for these. We tried this at the Uffizi in Florence and it worked brilliantly. Our mistake was not to buy enough post cards, so we had exhausted the supply too early and the girls started to get bored.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-09-20 00:00:00 Brian Fischer Picked up at the bargain table. Not a good as the DK series but a good second source. Hard to cover an entire country in one book, but OK background reading. Good mix of text and photos.
