Review # 1 was written on 2008-03-31 00:00:00 Kerry Jeinz Covers a lot of basic information about gulls and their lives. It's well-illustrated but a little dry. The book focuses on the most common herring (sea) gulls, but there are facts about some other kinds of gulls in the back matter.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-07-23 00:00:00 Patrick McRae Lots of information on herring gulls, with some on gulls in general and also the other kinds. Somehow manages to not mention that gulls love french fries. :-) Vocabulary words included in illustrations. Better than a dry textbook, but not really a standout.
