As a parent of a child that was diagnosed with Asperger's but who wasn't finding the information she wanted and needed to the way my son is, I found this book extremely informative. With each page I found myself learning more about my son and other children and even adults like him and the more I read the more I found myself immersed within the book. I first purchased this book when my son was diagnosed 6 years ago and time and life got in the way of me actually sitting down and reading it. Now that I have 3 children on the spectrum in various degrees, I made it my mission to learn all I could so that I could better parent my children and in that regard, this book delivered. I would definitely recommend it to everyone, whether you be on the spectrum yourself, or just someone who happens to know someone with Asperger's and wants to learn more. This was a very informative read.

Very helpful resource for parents. Especially helpful are the suggestions for transitions, adolescence and the changing dynamics of friendship. Practical applications for explaining and understanding why some people won't always "be there for you" and who are true "allies." Recommended.
