Review # 1 was written on 2011-06-18 00:00:00 Marie-Line Pelletier Mostly and in general this book offers quite good training advice in compact form and encourages clicker training and positive methods. This is good. It also offers nice workflows to solving some of the most common problems arising in living with dogs. However, there were some points I did not agree on with the author like some few points where the author indicated using physical punishment or intimidating the dog would be good. That's something I can't support in any way. There were also some term mix ups and concepts where the heading meant quite a different thing than what was actually explained, like flooding and negative punishment. All in all I would not recommend this as "the only dog training book you'll ever need".
