Review # 1 was written on 2009-10-21 00:00:00 Michael Stephen Sanger The illustrations are stunning. I'd like to see if there's an 'artwork of Haibane Renmei' coffee table book somewhere. The story is great, too - very original. I found some grammatical and typographical errors, but you often get that from translating, and it didn't bother me.

Review # 2 was written on 2021-02-08 00:00:00 Ken Caraglio It's basically just the first two episodes of the anime. The drawings by ABe are great, but the plot doesn't really go anywhere, since the ABe was busy working on the anime. It's great if you like the anime, but it's not a case where the manga has anything more to offer other than nicer looking art.
