The average rating for Pocket Idiot's Guide to Your Carbon Footprint based on 2 reviews is 2.5 stars.
Review # 1 was written on 2018-08-21 00:00:00 Timothy Van Ryswyk Another book on ecology with the primary emphasis on energy. I am giving 2.5 "energy filled" stars because I ended up speed reading thru this book. Why? 1) there was a lot I already knew and 2) there was a lot of scientific information / explanation, i.e., what is carbon? What are CFLs? What is a fossil fuel? What is coke? (No, not the drink or the drug). What is a primary carbon footprint? What is waste to energy? What is Xeriscaping? Etc. If you want to read a quickie book on YOUR carbon footprint (everyone has one and it is individual to you and your useage of energy resources); what it is, why it's important and how you can lower it, then this book is for you. |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-04-18 00:00:00 Chuck Harold The "Idiot's Guide" implies a little more practicality and a little less science. Perhaps I needed the idiot's guide to the idiot's guide to our carbon footprint. |
