Review # 1 was written on 2016-11-22 00:00:00 William Rhinier Text-to-Teaching Connection: We've all learned, "I've Been Working on the Railroad". The book features great illustrations and it mainly reads to provide the words to the song. A great activity would include playing the song, then again while reading along in the book. After they are familiar with the words I would do like a Musical lyric tag game where I'd randomly stop the song and call on a student to guess the next line. The book also includes sheet music, so for a music class children would learn to read music and practice on instruments.
