Loved the scientific parts, the philosophical parts were not so inspiring. The author contends that accepting the reality of death can help alleviate the pain. I personally think it's not death per se that is painful, but the senescence that leads to death. I don't mind dying, but I do mind seeing my body go down in ruins right before the last migration of my life.

This is a philosophical meandering on death from someone with a very similar viewpoint to mine. No definitive answers, but lots of good questions and examination of evidence.
