This one took forever to get through. Partially it's me taking too many books of this type out at one time and feeling pressured to get through them and being sick of it by the third book. Partially it's because I've gone through several sci-fi list books like this and many of the books are things I've already come across. And partially (this being a good thing), this was the longest book of the series, with about 100 more pages than the Suspense and Mystery titles, as well as more titles listed per page. I did find a decent number of titles that I obviously hadn't come across from the other books, despite remembering the author and some of the works listed. So I can hardly rate this book "badly" when it served its purpose and gave me more books to read. But its set up was probably the worst of the bunch. Many of the publication dates listed were different than those cited as original publication dates here on Goodreads, so I don't know which of the two sources is incorrect. And despite being published long before this book came out, several titles were listed independently despite being part of a series (i.e. under the 'works by the author' general heading rather than the series' title sub-heading). There were also a handful of titles listed multiple times under a single author, either with different publication dates with no reason as to why (most times the title would be listed once and in brackets the re-publication date and reason, such as revision, would be provided), or it would be listed under 'works by the author' (i.e. science fiction genre) and 'other notable genre fiction' simultaneously. Many of the books listed under 'other notable genre fiction' were actually categorized as science fiction on Goodreads as well, so I'm not sure what kind of criteria the authors/editors used to classify those books.
