Review # 1 was written on 2007-09-23 00:00:00 Robert Maia I found this book, 5 Principles for a Successful Life: From Our Family to Yours by Newt Gingrich, to fall basically into philosophical or motivational category. While I didn't see much in the way of new groundbreaking ideas, it is a quick read and includes much of what you may have read in other similar books. If you haven't read much in this area, it may be a good pick for you. While the author is a well known conservative, he did include stories representing a fair (OK maybe a bit more representation by conservatives) cross section of movers and shakers from all persuasions. Since I have read similar books previously, I would more accurately have rated it 3.5 but then I almost always round up. I did find it an interesting read and I thought it did a good job of organizing and presenting the material.

Review # 2 was written on 2007-09-22 00:00:00 Lowa Knot A great book for regrounding yourself and remembering to focus on the important things. Well written, short and to the point.
