Review # 1 was written on 2008-07-06 00:00:00 Donna Wood Very cute series. Hanabi and Yasuaki continue to informally date. In ch.1 and ch.2, Hanabi is trying to hold back her feelings because she thinks Yasuaki will dislike her if he knows she has a crush on him. At the school coed party, they finally express themselves. In ch.3, now that they've talked things over, Hanabi decides to become cuter, which doesn't work out so well for her. She eventually realizes she's all right the way she is. Chapter 4 is an Aido chapter, where he once again tries to get between Hanabi and Yasuaki. Chapter 5 involves a wealthy male student who's been misleading the girls. Hanabi deals with him only to get in trouble because his family donates a lot of money to the school. Chapter 6 is "thank you" day, so Hanabi decides to thank Yasuaki for everything he's done, but his friends freak him out when she invites him over to dinner that night. The art is really charming. Also, this is only a five volume series. It's refreshing reading a series that's already complete and is a nice short length. Reminds me a bit of Beauty Is The Beast, but I actually like it better. The characters just seem more genuine to me.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-09-12 00:00:00 Dan Brown This volume of Happy Hustle High was better than the first! After Hanabina and Yasuaki wake up naked together, they decide to start going out and become a pretty cute couple. Throw in a couple of people trying to mess it up along the way and you have a pretty good story, well apart from when Yasyaki was suggesting that they move to Hawaii together.....slow down dude! Bit weird that this book has no problems showing sideboob and nipple of a high school girl but decided to blur out her finger when she stuck her middle one up. That doesn't make any sense to me.
