Review # 1 was written on 2010-05-21 00:00:00 Willena Robey Really liked the book. Contains tons of valuable advices on how to approach not only current Java performance problems but also on how to protect your systems against future changes in usage patterns. The chapter on wait-based tuning approach is a gem IMO, and so is the last chapter that acts as a cheat sheet for the most commonly observed performance related problems in Java EE environments. Highly recommended to anyone interested in making sure their software systems are tuned and in good shapes, and especially to those whose systems are not.
