Review # 1 was written on 2014-07-27 00:00:00 Roby John This is a "popular" introduction to EAI - short on detail, long on asinine (and largely meaningless) cartoons. It will give an executive summary view of the state of the art of EAI, as it was in around 1995 - good enough to at least introduce the concepts and a lot of terminology, but horribly out of date now. It also has a really strange Bibliography, including what appears to be every magazine article the author had written at that point, regardless of whether or not the articles are relevant to the subject matter (for example, I'm sure his piece on VB5.0 was perfectly wonderful, but not convinced it will have moved forward anyone's understanding of EAI). |
