Review # 1 was written on 2008-03-29 00:00:00 Numer Patacsil Dispose of your preconceived notions about Florence. She was not a grandmotherly figure gingerly caring for wounded soldiers. She was something much (in my opinion) cooler. Her INFJ personality shines through as you will discover that Florence was much more than a nurse. Florence was a girl who abandoned her elitist/high society Victorian home at a young age in order to pursue God's call for her life. Initially, she had no idea that it would lead her to become a nurse. Her ultimate goal was to develop a theology/religion that would allow the rich to serve the poor-something she believed to be a chief aim of the gospel but was not promoted by the cultural religion of the time. Society-in those days-was divided by class with the poor being blamed for their unfortunate lot in life. Florence spent her time studying the Bible and traveling to Rome and Egypt to learn more about the text. Though she develops an interesting theology along the way, her heart's intention could not have been more pure. All she desired was to serve the Lord and was willing to abandon her family in order to do so. Eventually this led her to serve more of an administrative role as a nurse and start up hospitals (what she is mostly known for). Though she suffered from some severe PTSD-like disorder after service in the Crimean War, she continued to study the Lord's word/write in solitude for the remainder of her life. WHAT AN INSPIRATION.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-09-09 00:00:00 Andrew Dunn She is no Nurse Jackie. In fact; Why was her Stadol Nasal Spray addiction even a "problem?" She was no where near rock bottom and her whining was incomprehensible. A- for effort and sharing her tale, but She had a real sweet life and her addiction didn't really seem that terrible other than the fact she got caught stealing her supply from work but that's What happens when you're stupid and think you can get away with it.
