"A hollow metal statue of Saddam Hussein is being hauled down from the centre of a square in Baghdad. Iraqi's are giving a raucous applause and rapturous welcome to the Allied troops. A US soldier who tries to pin the Stars and Stripes to the dictator's head is rapidly showing the error of his ways and an Iraqi flag is found to take its place... This was not a popular not even when it was won. Anger remains, as well as pride. Voters sometimes favour the victorious. Often they do notes..."

I originally gave this a 3 star rating but after reflection reduced it to a two star. The reporter did not provide much insight into the the minds of the people at the centre of the Iraq war. He merely observed their outward actions. I did not feel any of the tension that was, no doubt, being controlled by the players. He did not get close enough to make the events even mildly interesting.
