Review # 1 was written on 2017-01-26 00:00:00 Jordan Page A bit uneven. The entries almost feel random. The black and white art is really good, but there could use to be more of it - at least a picture for every entry. The writing is mostly fun, sometimes a bit too fun. The entries talk more about animal and plant breeding then they do identification. But unlike a reference book you can read it all the way through. 3.5 of 5.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-06-21 00:00:00 Vincent Capello A fine light read. The writing is a little too cute in places. It gets a fourth star because I love the subject matter. I'll read the next two books in the series for sure.
