Although not directly related to the practice of translation or interpreting, this book is a must-have for anyone who forms part of the profession of language and/or culture. As the title suggests, this book is a catalogue of all, if not most, of the world's languages and where they are, or have been, located, along with the names of the cultures or groups of people associated with each one.

Pope John Paul II's noble role in helping in the collapse of communism in Europe is inspiring and heroic and deserves to be emulated by all freedom-loving persons in the world.
