Review # 1 was written on 2019-11-30 00:00:00 Forrest Folks Some decent ideas in this book suffered from poor photography and even worse styling. The sheer curtain canopy (page 145) hasn't even been ironed before it's hung up! Several large photos have a soft focus to them. I question many of the space planning choices, too. On page 88, the author substituted a comfy sofa opposite the TV with two uncomfortable looking chairs, putting the sofa at a 45 degree angle from the TV, and a fair distance from it, too. Many of her rooms have the all furniture up against the wall. But, like I said, there are some clever ideas, too.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-03-17 00:00:00 Jeff Lukas Initial thoughts after reading (found in a notebook): pretty nice book, had some neat ideas and looked like ikea. But I don't think that I would actually use it as anything but a reference book.
