Review # 1 was written on 2012-04-25 00:00:00 Benedict Lore Beautiful collection of stories, from the tales of the ancient Egyptians right up to post-Colonial Africans trying to make sense of their continent. Wonderfully edited, especially with the longer stories, leaving me with a desire to read the stories in full. Perhaps the story I loved the most was the epic of Sundiata, a young boy born into royalty but denied his birthright.
