Review # 1 was written on 2013-10-16 00:00:00 Benjamin Herrin While I've enjoyed perusing the photos and reading the captions of this book, I can't say that it's a practical guide for a quick make-over. The furnishings and materials are gorgeous, but costly. Some rooms require professional construction (or in the case of outdoor spaces, professional landscaping). It's lovely for dreaming of a "some day" look, but unless one can find "the look for less," it will probably stay a day dream.

I was looking for something a little more practical and suited for your average weekend warrior, DIY-er, "I got it used and on sale!" types.
