Review # 1 was written on 2014-07-22 00:00:00 Erik Sexton Overall this was a pretty fun read, mainly because Brottman kept dropping scholarly names that I hadn't heard since finishing grad school. I'm always a fan of when theory can be applied to our culture, rather than just literature or other arts, so it was interesting to see the juxtaposition. Don't expect a barrel of laughs or a major page-turner, but there are some interesting theories and applications of critical theory to be found.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-06-14 00:00:00 Jose Martinez Interesting read and great approach. Lots of holes in her theories, but generally exposes methodology for viewing popular culture
