Review # 1 was written on 2015-08-04 00:00:00 Barbara Brett After having visited the Amafi coast last year, I'm wishing I had of read this before I went. Having lived on the coast for 18 years, the author has given some really personal insights and advice into where to go and what to see and the best places to eat! The photography is beautiful and made me smile just looking at the pictures. It has certainly reinforced my itch to revisit the area and explore it more, as I never got to most of the places featured in the book. That's the advantage to becoming a 'local', and not just sticking to travel guides main attractions. I still found the beauty and character in the place, but know there is so much more to enjoy on my next trip :-) A lovely book to have, even just to dream!

Review # 2 was written on 2018-08-07 00:00:00 Ken Hemming The layout of the text versus the photo and the assembly of the photographs themselves is wonderful. The tome is self indulgent in its entire tone. However, Carla's photographs are enticing stories and hugely watchable.
