Review # 1 was written on 2018-07-10 00:00:00 Fernando Fischmann We borrowed this from the library - but this will be one to own! You can personalize it by writing in the last page of the book. There is a lined page so you can always remember things "Daddy Likes to Say." I laughed out loud multiple times reading this book. I've read it to family members who aren't even children. It's so cute and funny. The illustrations are spot-on. I admittedly remember imagining similar (literal) pictures in my head as a child when I heard some of the idioms the first time. I love the fact that most of the pages have facts about the saying, as well. It's entertaining to young and old, alike.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-11-04 00:00:00 David Fistein My grandson loved My Daddy Likes to Say. He just laughed and laughed at the funny things Dad 'likes to say', which can be pretty silly to our little guys. The rhyming was fun and even at 6 he liked hearing the explanations of the idioms. As with My Momma Likes to Say illustrations are wonderful, hilarious and perfectly silly.
