This could be read to younger children or with older children. It includes addition information in the margins about the ABC items for each letter. Very informative while also adaptable for age or need for information level.

(Cool) It is an awesome book about our very own state, TN.It is an A-Z book with a significant part of Tennessee for each letter. For example, "A is for Appalachian Mountains. 2) Grade level, interest level, lexile (1 pt) 1st grade 3) Appropriate classroom use (subject area) (1 pt) learning about Tennessee 4) Individual students who might benefit from reading (1 pt) Students who are having a hard time grasping the key concepts of TN and what we it makes up. 5) Small group use (literaturecircles) (1 pt) There are quite a few other books like this that Mike Shoulders wrote.
