Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-15 00:00:00 Gerard Vieitez Application focused, with exercises and step-by-step instructions including for multisim. This seems more geared toward Technician work than maker/engineer given the lack of explination on why circuits need a certain resistor or how something works. It did cover how the components interacted enough to give a good foundation for troubleshooting, including gate logic and it ended with a preview into RAM and CPUs.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-07-20 00:00:00 Marcquette Kinard Although it's produced by a major publishing company, this book has a very self-published feel. The text wanders all over the place with stream of conscience writing, parentheticals everywhere, critical formulas stuck in the middle of paragraphs so they're easy to miss. Are you trying to make this harder than it has to be? To be fair, I'm a tech writer by trade, so I am more than a little finicky about these things. I'll be gracious and give the book three stars because Bill Kleitz did take the time to go through every chapter on his YouTube channel (BillKleitz). His videos made the material a lot more approachable than the text. Kleitz might want to stick to teaching over writing textbooks. Pearson should really get their act together as far as editing goes.
