Review # 1 was written on 2012-01-07 00:00:00 Roberto Cludio Duarte Rojo De Lacerda I'm probably a bit biased about this book because one of my college professors wrote it, but it was really surprising. I knew nothing about Howard Hughes and really didn't care to learn anything about Howard Hughes, but it was truly delightful. This book is a fictional account of what portions of his life might have been like, so just forget you even know the name Howard Hughes (if that turns you off) and it's a good book. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-09-29 00:00:00 Jeff Smith An interesting point of view on a singular character. The author's narrative choice is original and manages to capture the reader in a sort of journalistic story of Huges' life between successes, failures and illusions. A look at the two sides of success: a person who has managed to change the world in his own way but has not changed his personal life. A nice surprise, to read |
